it never works with the person of earlier in the week. only each time we do hang out and get together, the time ends up shorter and shorter. Next time (assuming there will be one) we'll probably barely say "hello".
still there is a million reasons why I haven't had a text back - namely:
- busy with family (he has a whole lot in town for a wedding)
- Job interview in Auckland today
- 11yo son
- Father dies 3 years ago today
- general work commitments.
of course I really can't get involved anyway - but I'd like to have had the opportunity to tell him he needed to get approval from my friends if he wanted to!
I really don't want to buy cats.
