one of those gleams of inspirations - I was thinking that there are certain days in each year that suck, or are just awkward. for me: Valentines day and Waitangi Day are 2.
so that i do not pass my erk of these days onto my next generation, I would like to make these days mean something for us by way of tradition! I kind of started this year with Waitangi day, by taking Sam and my Aunt to Karori Wildlife sanctuary - so in keeping with that I now decree the 6th if February to be "Picnic Day"!
next year we may even invite more people - make it a real celebration!!
